A former global transformation leader, DeAnna knows what it’s like to burn out inside systems that weren’t designed for her - and she’s on a mission to change that. Working With DeAnna - FAQ:
What is it like to work with you? As a customer and employee experience strategist, I care deeply about your experience - not just the audience’s. I see myself as part of your extended team, and my goal is to make the process smooth, collaborative, and energising. No diva vibes here! (Well… maybe just a little on stage.)
Do you tailor your speeches? Absolutely. I take the time to understand your organisational goals, audience context, and event vibe so I can speak directly to your people, in your language, at your moment.
Do you arrive early? Stay late? Or run away? I’m flexible. Whether you’d like me to meet and greet attendees, stick around for networking, or help hand out materials - I’ve got you. Let me know what you need, and I’ll do my best to show up as part of your team.
Will you do a Q&A? Yes, gladly! Just let me know in advance so we can plan the timing and flow.
Will you send your slides in advance? Can you speak with / without slides? Yes and yes. I’m happy to share slides in advance if needed, and I can also speak without them. I never read from notes—so there’s no robotic delivery, and definitely no death by PowerPoint.
What are your technical requirements? I’ll bring my own laptop and clicker. From your side, I’ll need:
A wireless lavalier (clip-on) mic
A PA/sound system
An AC power socket
A projector with HDMI input & cable
At least 30 minutes for a thorough tech check before the event
Can you handle an international audience? Yes, and I love working with global audiences. I’ve spoken across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and I draw from my multicultural background - Mexican, American, and British - to navigate cultural nuances with care.
I’m bilingual in English and Spanish - and fluent in both British and American, which means I can switch seamlessly between “pants” and “trousers,” “cookies” and “biscuits,” or whatever your audience needs.
Will you do a pre-booking call? Yes, always. I include a pre-booking call so we can align on goals, logistics, and audience needs.
What are your speaking fees? My fees vary depending on location, audience size, and event type. I also offer virtual keynotes and workshops. Drop me a message with a few event details and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours - usually much quicker.
Do you ever speak for free?
Nope. As much as I’d love to be paid in snacks or gratitude, my mortgage still wants actual money. That said, if you’re a registered charity or a cause-aligned organisation with limited budget, feel free to reach out. If the mission aligns and the timing works, we might be able to work something out.
"DeAnna created a welcoming and safe environment that allowed complete strangers to open up and share their experiences without hesitation. Her ability to listen and engage the group was remarkable."
